Daniela Chirion

Daniela Chirion (BE) studied painting at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, obtaining a master’s degree in Fine Arts in 2006. Her work spans painting, graphics, art books, videography, objects, poetry and photography. It has been included in collections held by the European Parliament and other European institutions. Daniela lives and works in Belgium. Her art explores silent, vulnerable human thoughts, using specific colour palettes to reinforce the theme of each project. Poetry is an integral element in her work, through which she questions the human condition and seeks meaning in everyday life. Her work is on display in cultural and political institutions around the world.
